Human resources challenges at Fluxym
1. Develop a strong skills culture
To improve the finesse of its assignment and consultant support process, Fluxym wanted to set up a system for monitoring skills and sector expertise, as well as knowledge of different products (Fluxym offers almost 9 different software packages).
2. Generalize and promote in-house training
Following on from the previous challenge, Fluxym needed to combine skills monitoring with a pro-active training policy. Given the complexity of the environment and the subjects involved, the most appropriate approach was to call on in-house training.
A second challenge for Fluxym was to implement an internal training policy, with identified trainers who could share their experience (sector or product) and thus contribute to the overall improvement of our consultants' expertise.
3. Implement a career management policy
The 3rd objective for Fluxym's HR department was to integrate its thinking on skills and training into an overall career management policy. The aim was to roll out a regular staff review, with centralized data for monitoring employee progress.
The aim of this career and development management system was to structure consultants' career paths within the company, giving them a clearer idea of the next steps in their career with Fluxym.
